Just keep your signature line in mind ;-)

Data corruption usually occurs when something unexpected happens to the connection to the data from the client - so don't skimp on network infrastructure, backup solutions (UPS), servers, etc.

Reason for asking is I've inherited an Access program which I made the suggestion that VFP would be better to use (i.e. multiuser, speed, etc. - list is too long :) ) however I'd like to know if there are any "major" issues with corruption and if I would be better off utilizing a 3 party product to deal with things.
