We recently upgraded to Sql 2000 from SQL 6.5. We are having a problem accessing tables in tempdb created through a fox odbc to SQL connection. For some reason when one user creates a tempdb table and then another user crates one by the same name. Exaple Select * from mytable into tempdb..table1 and then the second user creates the table the same way, both tables are created in tempdb. One the first user accesses their table they have no problem doing so. However when the second user trys to access their table a sql error is generated. Unable to select from tempdb..table1 because it is owned by user1. However in tempdb we can see that both tables are created by different users (dbos) . How can user two get to their table, without passing some kind of user name in the select into statment?

Thanks for your help.
