Dear Experts

I have a table that has only one field type date which contains data as follows

20/03/2002
20/03/2002
20/05/2003
22/05/2003
22/05/2004
25/05/2004
25/05/2004
26/05/2004

Total records/dates are 8 but the number of different dates is 6.How is it possible to find out different dates in a field programatically.

Please help
