First... the app should be slower, just not that much slower.

If you are running a virus checking software on the server machine, disable it and test. Ensure that you have a good connection and good throughput.

We would need more information about the setup to give any other details - server os, network config, etc.

I have tested with virus checking disabled, but don't see any improvements.

I'm not that technical, I only know that we have a windows XP OS and a HP computer.

I have especially problems with the command "close data" and also cancelling a program takes a long time
