some SET commands work only in a datasession, and you have to configure for each session, you can two options to solve the problem:

first in the beforeopentables method in your dataenvirnment of your form you can cnfigure your SET's
this work but is hard when you have to many forms

2**
create a custom vcx where you seting your preferences and add this to your forms then in the init event of your form you can call the property with the setings from your vcx.
