Yes, they do. You write .NET code that executes on the web servers but renders as standard HTML on the users' browser. However, each browser implements those "standards" different. There are several issues when trying to develop sites that look and feel right on different browsers (e.g. things don't align right) but that is a common issue on the web (not .NET specific) You just need to test your site on a variety of browsers/OS as you go along.
