Yes, the limit is approx. 16,383 rows.
Daniel Gramunt wrote a program back in 2000 that was (I believe) out in the download area. It was called copy2xls. But I could not find it in my quick search before telling you. I will look around for my copy, or maybe someone else can point you to it.
