One of my fellow programmers is getting this error. We are writing a 'lite' version of an application that is already working. We needed to change some of our table structures and consequently some of our views. One form in particular seems to be having trouble with the requery() of a view. Because the views have multiple tables we created most of them in code. We recreated this view in code (updating the .dbc) and we are able to set the parameters in the command window and browse the view....it has been changed. We then modified the form by deleting the view from the data environment.. then adding it back in...each time we run the form and access a tab on a pageframe where the view will be requeried...we get "View definition has been changed' We are using VSS and VFP 6.0. So far no insight as to why this happens and of course the foxpro help is as cryptic as ever....My only thoughts so far, is that the compiled version is not being updated..(maybe it is read only)... any help would be appreciated..
