I have an ASP.NET application that has been running on the same server as the data that I connect to so I've been able to specify the physical drive and not a mapped drive for my data path.

It looks like the file and web server will be divided up on to two servers (yea!) and I know I *think* I should be able to use a UNC path, but I'm having a complete brain spasm and don't trust that's correct. A reality check would be greatly appreciated.
