are not as simple as an average ...

I use a DBGrid control bound to a control data. I would like to make a calculation on the fields of the recordset (containing numbers) of the control data. I woluld like the result appear in a supplemental column of the grid control (not bound to the control data). I would also like this calculation to refresh instantaneously each time the user modify one field of the grid.
I tried to do that by using a clone recordset and the BeforeColUpdate event of the grid but it didn't work.
