It's my understanding that the Start Page will show only current projects for a certain length of time and then if they're not opened after that time, they'll drop off of the list. I've been trying to find an option where you can specify that time period and I can't find anything. IAC, removing a project from the StartPage (assuming you could find a way to do it), wouldn't remove the project from your computer. The Start Page is simply meant to be a convenient way to access the last thing you were working on. I'm not sure if you're trying to use it differently or not.
