I see your point. At this stage it's just playing with asp.net
I decided to take a recent ASP project I delivered and am starting to rewrite in asp.net just to learn it. It will also involve ado.net and has to fit within a specific look and feel (page template) so it will be a somewhat complete example for me to try to make it to work. Thx.
