You can also use Intellisense to generate comments.

But, inside the reset.prg program is a snip of code that set the ON KEY statements to embed comments into source code. For example; the ALT+F7 key, when pressed on a line of source code, copies the line, comments it out, then make a copy under the original to be edit as the revision. There are many more hot keys like this. Check it out. It could help as a start.
