my application needs to have adobe reader 6.0 and adobe postscript printer installed in my user's machine. i have in my menu of these installations.

i want to know whether user has uninstalled adobe while my application is open.

i've put a check_adobe() in timer1. is this the right place to put this? or should i just put an error check in all my procedures? but i have a couple of them. i don't want to go through each and every procedure to put this check. or should i still put it there?
