Hi
The list is based on a grid, so no performance penalties.
If you set pkIndex property to a valid index, this will be used to display text portion of combobox based on its value, so again, loading of all rows is not needed. The same when the list is activated.
One issue, is possible that the line of code from Comboform::Deactivate event to be inactive. Please uncomment it if so.
The file is now available in Download section.
>Woowww... I've tested the class, just Amazing, now I'll probe with medium and large files, to see the behaviors and speed performance.

>>>Hi all
>>>I've designed a special combobox class, with some interesting features:
>>>-multi column search criteria (can search and display other columns than the first)
>>>-SEEK, FILTER, SETKEY, LOCATE, SCRIPT search modes
>>in SCRIPT mode, executes an external code that get rows, with typed string as parameter
>>>-headers for columns, if needed (exists a property to set this up)
>>>-command button at bottom to permit adding a new item if an AddNewCommand is specified
>>>-selections can be made with keyboard even if the mouse pointer is over list area.

>>>If someone is interested, I will post it to Download section, maybe I will get some help to improve it (SETKEY search mode doesn't work as well as I want)
