Ummm .... it's not just "developing countries".

We sell a vertical market app and we're *still* getting grumbles from our users because we dropped Win95 support (because of VFP8). Most of these people justify having a PC in the first place just so they can run our app. Once they've bought one, they'd like to use it until it won't run any more.

They don't care if they have the latest bells and whistles. They want to enter their data, print their checks, and get the reports they need to maintain IRS compliance.
