I don't have a clear mark to suggest. Formerly I had 650Mhz AMD (faster than Intel 650Mhz) with 192Mb and it was a sucker with .NET. Now I've Athlon 2500+ with 256Mb and it's not bad. In a few weeks plan to buy (for home) the fastest CPU for desktops so it should do :)
PS: At home I've Intel PIII450Mhz and that one was the real sucker.
