Hi Claude.
I meant commercially. Is it more widely used then Powerbuilder or SmallTalk or Delphi? I don't know..... I think Access get more play time in the corporate America then VFP right now. Althought some of use are seeing some "encouraging" signs. But signs come and go.....

But, we do know that the popularity or VFP, and Foxpro in general, is not near what it was 10-12 or even just 5 years ago.

Just because couple of hundred rapid VFP developer log into a forum at www.univeralthread.com doesn't mean anyone is impressed.

I don't know how much $ PERL makes and I don't care.

I come here because VFP is still one of the tools I use and because of the vast knowledge base from which I can learn and get ideas.

I hope I'm not taking anything away from what Mr. Levy and his army has done and continues to do for the VFP community... I'm just calling it as I see it.

Like many here, I would love to see the rise of VFP again because I think it's a great tool. I would hate to have to do some of things I do now without it.

Thanks Claude.
