>One way to keep vfp alive and strong is to use it on the web. *ALL* modern programming languages have strong web capabilities. So any new features, improvements, or bug fixes coming out from Microsoft for web development(web services, web programming, ASP.NET interop) help a great deal. VFP 9 looks promising as far as improvements for VFP web development. But, more than this, it's important that developers are using it in this way, asking questions here and in other forums, and furthering the general knowledge about it. I'm constantly amazed at the reluctance of many to use vfp on the web because they consider themselves only desktop application developers. Well, the world is changing around them and going to the internet!

Hello Claude. Agree with you about how important it is for us to use VFP on the web. In fact, I purchased Rick's Web Connection and follow your postings closely with just that in mind.

What I would like to see, and suggest that you work on, is a quick and dirty way for a person to get a web presence with a VFP based solution. Please take a look at DotNetNuke.com. Can you come up with something as simple to use as they promise, but based on VFP? I am sure it would be infinitely easier to extend.

Thanks,

Alex
