Hi Tamar,

>FWIW, Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day, because people went out to the cemetary and decorated (with flowers and ribbons, presumably) the graves of the war dead...

It's one of the busiest days of the year (perhaps THE busiest) for many of our clients (cemeteries). Somehow, we manage to still get the day off, primarily because a computer glitch is the last thing they want to worry about on such a busy day. Of course, we still have our moments. Just last Friday, a major client called at four o'clock, seconds before the boss told everyone to go home early, with a problem that needed to be fixed. Fortunately, we were able to get him fixed up shortly after five, but that wasn't a good feeling.
