Thanks for the info. I may have a need to do what you are doing in the future, regarding editing RTF text in VFP, so this is good to know, i.e. Chado Spell. But for now, at least, I expect that the user will be creating RTF documents in word directly. But I'm hoping to avoid word automation if I can, since I don't know if word will be installed on the target machines. (Am I correct that a licened copy of MS Word needs to be installed on the machine, or is it possible to have a subset of word files just for automation?)
