Hi, Walter.

>>>1. The issue was BUG FIXES and not "upgrades". We're all happy to pay for upgrades of significance. BUGS are another matter and it is my opinion that anyone who dismisses them as minor/irrelevant does us ALL a disservice. It is immaterial that the VFP Team is small and possibly in jeopardy.

Haven't you seen the number of bugs FabioL has posted here. OK not are critical, but sure there are some that are quite annoying.

Well, that's my point. What's "quite annoying" for you hasn't been a problem for me in all this time. Indeed, I don't have any critical issues regarding grids. Enhancement requests, many. Critical bugs, not a single one. but I'm speaking of myself (and my company).

So, the important thing is a Service Pack should be released when an important number of critical (in a broad sense) bugs are found. I think VFP 8 is stable enough. You may know that any additional release can introduce newer issues, so in this case, I'd prefer thatno further SPs, and instead concentrating development efforts in enhancements (and of course, little bug fixes) for a higher version.

This was my point from the start.
