Sergey, since you were kind enough to offer some assistance, I thought I would give you an update on this problem. The VFP project is on a server, so I tried working on it from a Win98 workstation and the problem went away. If I try the same thing on my W2k box, the problem returns. The form is not corrupt, it obviously has something to do with the O/S.

Thanks for the tip about Windows 2000! It must be a conflict with all NT-based systems since the same thing occurs when using an XP workstation.

I did a search of MSN VFP KnowledgeBase and found nothing on this problem. If you happen to know the KB number, I'd sure love the read what MS has to say about it.
