I'm sure this was covered somewhere, so I apologize for answering a question that's been asked...

Are there any known issues with using the VFP9 beta on a machine that has VFP8?

I'd like to be able to bang on V9 on the same laptop I use for my V8 production work, but only if there aren't any risks in doing so.
