Thanks for your response!

Yeah, I'm not sure why sys(2004) was being used either. I guess it was because the dll was always installed in the same directory as the main calling exe, and was therefore ASSUMED to always be same. Since I know what the word ASSUMED can mean, I have since rewritten the whole load routine and have pulled the references to sys(2004).
