There are one or two reporting sample programs included in the release notes. You may see some additional samples posted a bit later.

But you may as well start a wish list of samples you would like to see <g>.

IOW... sure you don't want to "read the book", but read enough of the intro to the book to ask some questions and you'll probably get a creative response <g>.
