Have you right clicked on the server in the Enterprise Manager - select Properties and looked at the Memory tab? Perhaps you could start there.

>I am having an issue with the current machine that SQL server is running on. What's happening is the RAM of the server is not being released when a request is finished. The machine is a DELL twin 1.3 Ghz with 1 Gb of RAM. We are using VFP 8 passthrough to access the data on the machine. Every call to the server is calling a Stored procedure to return a set of data. What I need to find out is what is causing the RAM to stay locked. Right now after the first call to the server everyone else is using the paging file and the CPU activity is off the chart. Where can I start looking to figure out what is going on?
