>I have a page frame with 3 pages. I put control buttons on so they are visable in all three pages. When I use my add button I can TAB to all of the fields except the ones on the last page that are bound to a child table in my database. Why is this doing this?? When I change the control source of the text box to the parent table the TAB works just fine. I am sort of new to VFP so please be kind :-) thanks for the help.

Well, I just quickly read the FoxPro Advisor for October. MEI's George Gooley gives some suggestions on using pageframes and optimizing performance. Some of the techniques look interesting. Essentially, make everything a class and instantiate when necessary. Sounds simple enough in theory, but I have not learned my lesson yet. MEI has a www site. The article may be there also.
I have several forms which contain many/many pageframes. The 1st pageframe (Parent table) contains 3 tabs for data entry, list (browse) and a reports dialog. The next pageframe contains the related children pages or read-only queries, usally 4 or more tabs. Each child tab contains a data entry and list tab. Talk about pages. My former co-worker developed most of the base class which included creation of a big old array to track the current page within a pageframe. It works, but is very very slow. Respond to the thread and report any interesting finding for everyone's benefit. Well htwh. Steve.
