Basically, we believe that Bahá'u'lláh, who wrote this, brings us a new message from God. Actually, this is the continuation of older messages, since God sent a number of His Messengers, with a single purpose: to guide mankind.
And, World Unity (as well as unity on smaller levels) has an important part in God's message for this day.
