I had no problems loading the DataExploer from the Task Pane. However, before I tried the Task Pane, I just ran it from the Command Window. You might want to give this a try to see if the application will run, independent of the Task Pane. Just make sure that your VP9Beta home directory is in your path and type: DO DataExplorer.app

I was very excited and please with the new DataExplorer until I discovered it only creates "read only controls & browse windows." Does anyone know how to change is so it will allow you to update you data from within the DataExplorer?
