Works for me. Since I couldn't see anything while the line was there, can't say it's generally better, just endlessly better in my 5.0.33 case.
I tried resizing the window in all possible ways, no problem at all, except that it forgot the size and position when I closed the Task Pane Manager, but apart from that, it reloaded fine.

Furthermore, I'd like the whole DataExplorer to be even more resizable - the lower pane is too small, often I just want to see the definition of the view or a SP. Making the lower pane resizable would be sufficient for that.
