Thanks for that example I will try that out, will be interested to see that it really is non blocking, if if is that will solve the problem nicely.

I would be interested to read the other thread on this subject if you have a link. If it can be done using an mtdll that might be fine but I could never get that to work without the blocking problem, how have you done it?
