The only thing that immediately comes to mind is that you might need the double \\ in front of your DBC name. (That's assuming that sample.dbc is in the root of 10.0.0.10.

I've never specifically tried that...the double \\ is the only thing that immediately jumped out at me. If that doesn't work, maybe someone else here might have some suggestions.
