Might you have a table or cursor in the DE of the form where somewhere you are setting a filter that has a variable or property reference that does not yet exist? Open any method of that form and Search All Objects for "filter". If nothing is found there, open the DE of the form and look at the Filter property of all the Cursors to see if anything is wrong there.

Do any of the tables, views or cursors opened by the form have any index tag expressions that have filters that are dependent on the existence of a variable or property value?
