I had the same challenges too. I discovered that if I regened my SQL data adapter and then regened my SQL data set it resolved my issues. What occured, was that when I modified the SQL database the SQL adapter (XML) and SQL data set references in my solution needed to be updated too. Otherwise, they kept referencing their static details; thus, creating the errors. Hopes this helps.
