Sorry, but if anyone's words are being stretched, it's mine.

I am not speaking for anyone but my own observations. However, I personally know several VFP developers who have made similar observations, that more and more organizations are either involved in .NET conversions or are planning them later this year.

Talk to professional recruiters and they will tell you that VFP development is on a downward slope and other technologies are on the rise. That does not mean 'VFP is dead'...it will continue to be a factor for quite some time. But the downward trends exceed the upward ones.

Actually, I really haven't received a specific answer on why the timing is so 'poor'...just a general correlation. I think the real reason is because of things that some don't want to admit to, that it involves exposure/attention to technologies that receive more attention in the marketplace.

Instead of ripping into the original poster, making silly claims that a simple broken link is reflective of their services (c'mon, you guys have NEVER made a mistake?), why not take a more analytical look at what they're doing?
