I like Norton and thought they might have a tool. I searched Symantec's site for "BackDoor-AXJ". I didn't get a tool, but I got this link.

For Norton you have to update the virus signitures in safe mode (They tell you how)
And, you have to delete a registry key too - and they show you how.

Most the time, once the damage is done, you have to do some things manually.
