IF VFP Dockable windows had an Autohide option, I might feel a little differently. Or have I missed it?

If you open the .NET Tools->Options dialog, and select MDI Environment instead of Tabbed Documents, you will see the same behavior as in VFP, which is what our architecture is based upon (including the fact that dockable windows are always 'angelic' in nature and cover up not dockable ones). I suppose we could have invested resources in supporting a Tabbed Doc IDE, but that was not high on the list of customer requests you guys submitted.
