I used to have Norton, then bought McAfee (probably was on sale or something). Honestly, I thought they all provide pretty much equal protection. I guess I was wrong. I will now switch to Norton.

>You're welcome. I'm glad you got through it without formatting your hard drive. Not sure why McAfee didn't keep itself updated and you protected, but you might want to consider switching to Norton. I buy Norton System Works each year. It includes it and there is always a time when it's on sale at Best Buy or Amazon with rebates. If you're upgrading, even more rebates. I think the final cost this year when I bought it at Best Buy was $20 or less. One year I got it at Amazon and after rebates I made a $10 profit.
