I add a system DNS to my machine. I used the Excel driver but I see this with most drivers on my system(but not VFP or SQL Server).

In the Data Explorer, Right click Connection->Add Connection->ADO connection.

Select the system DNS from the datasource combo. Click OK.

Then when I expand the New node on the Data Explorer it prompts for only a password.
