I couldn't get this edit into the other post before it got replied to.

Your dual monitor system is only 12% ( 1280*1024*2 - 1920*1200 ) / 1280*1024*2 more screen space than my Dell notebook. So we have virtually the same space available. If the docked windows weren't AlwaysOnTop we'd have that much more task-at-the-time space available.
