Your dual monitor system is only 12% ( 1280*1024*2 - 1920*1200 ) / 1280*1024*2 more screen space than my Dell notebook. So we have virtually the same space available. If the docked windows weren't AlwaysOnTop we'd have that much more task-at-the-time space available.

I´m running on a dual 17" 1280 x 1024 panel, and this leaves me with enough real estate to design forms and classes for works under a 1024 x 768 resolution (which is the minimum for my applications).
