VISUAL FOXPRO WILL LIVE FOREVER:

IF
- you buy the upgrades
- you tell Microsoft how the VFP products you develop
sell other Microsoft products.
ENDIF

The second condition is the MOST IMPORTANT, and may require some explanation. If your VFP based product causes your clients and customers to move along the MS upgrade path, or to convert from something else (say Novell to Win OS); you will be directly selling millions of dollars of MS products.

BUT If you don't tell your story to Ken Levy or to someone else at Microsoft, then FoxPro will not get the credit for driving these sales. So long as Microsoft's managment is informed of the sales driven because of YOU, the VFP developer, they will keep VFP alive.

THIS is vitally more important than anything else that you can do. Let Microsoft know how much business you generate for them BECAUSE of your development on the VFP platform. Say it often. Say it loud.
