This is not a fair statement. Even with Citrix great optimization, running a win32 app over the web has big scalability problems. I have apps like this with a few hundred users which takes three or four servers, and I know some others with a couple thousands, where a small serverfarm is needed.
Now, a typical ASP.NET application can handle several thousand users off a single server if properly architected.
I love VFP, but I can't think of it as a silver bullet. Before .NET, I could use C++ or Java for some things where VFP could not be the best. Now .NET covers this space, and -truly- much of VFP own, too.
