Someone else posted the thread # in a link, so I reviewed that thread. Most of the discussion about VFP was on the questions of whether Xen was really VFP, whether VFP might gain the ability to use SEEK, etc on SQL Server tables, and whether Yukon would support VFP code in SPs.

In one of Ken's responses, he mentioned the VFP data enhancements listed in his January 2004 newsletter, which contained this statement:

Many new data-related features will be enhanced in Europa, including the addition of support for new data types such as variable character, variable binary, and blob types for increased compatibility with SQL Server 2000 and the upcoming version of SQL Server, code-named "Yukon."

This sounds very far from your contention that VFP would not work with Yukon.
