Laudable, that you want to get to the bottom of inconsistencies -
but for running apps you sometimes have to fix fast.

If your insurance forms are similar to ours, you have oodles
of fields, which take some time to walk. Since there is only
a certain type of field/textbox combination involved,
I'ld use the setall-trick with a special
property/assign-combination through inheritance.

Should be visibly (weak pun intended) faster...
Still, if you find the true culprit, pls post.
