Hi Walter,

The writings are on the wall. John just read them loudly.
IMHO it is not John the one who kills the great product - it is Microsoft.
I saw a sentence here at UT "The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth". Because VFP is not innovated since several years, the sentence in some way descibes VFP today and future position on market.
VFP9 seems did not change too much in this area it is rather high quality life support than effort to make VFP competetive.

>1. VFP is dead because its userbase is declining

>2. There is also a major decline in VB developers (because of transition to .NET). So why is VB not dead and VFP is ?
>3. There many VFP developers out there that are really waiting for VFP9, so how can you judge it is irrelevant.
>4. you´re spreading FUD, just like you did before .NET in pushing people into VB.

>What is your motivation to do this? You should be ashamed of yourself. You do a great disserve to the VFP community. You´re only here to seek and destroy. I really wonder how much you get paid to do this up here.
