As others have pointed out, the SQL statement length is still stuck at 8192.

What's the point of being able to generate complex SQL that is too long to compile? (We generate both xCase-defined and derived view ourselves, in order to have extra control over them; so that fact that perhaps one can create these complex views in the View designer have they will compile is irrelvant.)

Is this going to change before release?

Unfortunately, this also means we can't take our largest app (300+ entities) and (having converted the concatenating views we were forced to create in 8 and put them back into single views) really test it in 9.
