I don't think I've ever had a line of code that approached that length. However, I ran into this limitation when trying to send updates on a couple of rather large views I have. You know better than me, I'm sure, that under the hood VFP creates a long UPDATE SQL statement based on how the SET WHERE CLAUSE option is set up on the update tab of the view designer when a tableupdate is issued on a view. I cannot remember why, but I could not select key fields only but the other options caused the "SQL Statement Too Long" error.
