>I must say that in general I find far more respect for .NET here than I saw for VFP over in that forum.

That is definitely true but I think that some VFP developers need to realise that you can produce a decent app in .NET. I'm not jumping ship from VFP as a tool, I just think that a lot of VFP developers rubbish .NET without having any experience with the product. I have been playing with it and can see great advantages in some areas and great annoyances in others.

>>>I think it is interesting. The respondants clearly do not know VFP or how to use it. They offered many reasons why they do not like VFP that are not true. Instead of learning the product they assume it can not do what they need. They would have the same view of any other products they were "forced" to use. Its just sad the misinformation is spread in a forum like that.

>>>>Hi Bernard. I am not sure why this is such "interesting reading"? Its a few developers that dont like VFP. And none of them give me the impression that they have any real in depth experience or knowledge of VFP. There are always developers who prefer one language over another. So what?

So six vb.net guys, on a vb.net forum, dont like VFP. I am sure there are some developers that dont like vb.net. What does that mean or prove to anyone either way?
