If you actually put in practice Kevin's advice, then you're on the right track. This book is more simple, and it is oriented to a less sophisticated developer.

Although Les refers all of the time to "VB.NET", most of what he explains actually refers to the .NET Framework in general.

If you still find that some things you do in VFP are hard to do in .NET, then you may go to a bookstore and take a look at the book. Or maybe you can check whether Amazon activates the "Look inside" feature for this title, and then loop to some of it pages.
